We are learning about types of lines in geometry this week. For example, the keys on a piano run parallel to each other. They are the same distance apart at every point and do not intersect.

We have been learing about lines. A line segment starts and ends. I can name my line segment AB. A line never stops just like a number line. A line can go either way it has places to stop but it keeps on going. A ray it starts but it doesn't end. I can name all my lines AB.

I have leared that a line never ever ever never touch. And a segment has a arrow at the end telling that it gose on forever both ways. And a ray gose one way forever.

I found out that a line segment doesn't go for ever.A line goes forever.A point goes at the beginning of the ray.A ray begins but never ends.

lines are everwhere!Lines are like the main thing in this world.On the i pads we all took pictures fo lines then we picked a color and found lines and folowed the lines with our fingers.I thought that was COOL.The lines,segments,and rays.There are lines on the pipes.

I learned intersecting lines cross and touch each other. And that parallel lines never ever ever touch each other. It is so interesting to learn about line segments,lines,and rays! Line segments are lines that stop. And lines go on and on and on. Rays have a beginning but they never end. I would tell you more about line segments,lines,and rays but i got to go. You should study them to!!!!!

What I learned about lines,segements,and rays is that they are all kinds of lins. First I am going to tell you about lines a line has two points but I like to call them pitstops. a line has two arows on the end. Now I am going to tell you about segement lines. A segement line is a line with two points on the end. Last I am going to tell you about rays. Rays are lines with a point on one end and a areow on the other there is also one pitstop. Thats all I know about line,segements, and rays.

I am a cat but that dose not mean my momy cant teach me. What I learned UCH is UCH UCH UHC sorry hairball! So what I was saying is that ive been lerning about lines, line segments, and rays. My momy Christina is teaching me. I LOVE HER!!! Im going to tell you about lines. A line has two little dots in it could points I like to call them catstops. On the end of the line are two arows. arows are there because it means go on so the arows kep going. Thats all I learned so far ill be right back my momy is about to teach me more about diffrent kinds of lines. BYE!!!!!!
